Explore the charming streets of Bangor, savour a cup of coffee and a Bara brith in a local café, immersing yourself in the artistic splendour inspired by this remarkable underwater ecosystem. Join us on an artistic adventure and support local businesses as we work together to celebrate the beauty of kelp and its vital role in our environment!

Begin at Caffi Cysur for a delicious breakfast and a friendly chat, heading on to Kyffin Cafe thereafter to stock up on snacks for the trail and locally-sourced gifts. 

Next, head up to Bangor University's Main Arts building in Powis Hall for an exciting exhibition, then take a leisurely stroll down to Garth Pier. 

Now that you've worked up an appetite, we recommend heading over to Bwyd Da Bangor for a coffee and a bite to eat, followed by a visit to Penguin Cafe for their incredible ice creams!

Finally, land yourself at Blue Sky Cafe & Tap Room for a seaweed-inspired cocktail (or two!) or a locally brewed beer, soaking in the lively vibe.
